Onboarding IQ is an onboarding progress tracker, which your supplier can enable to give you continuous task recommendations, guidance, and encouragement until you’re ready to start working confidently toward productivity in your partner portal.

Accessing Onboarding IQ
If you’re starting your onboarding journey, or are in the middle of it, Onboarding IQ will pop up when you log in to the portal. It speaks to you in the language you’ve selected for the portal (for more information, see Changing the Language of your Portal):
If it’s enabled, you’ll also see the Onboarding IQ option in your Ask IQ AI assistant. Here, you can switch between chatting to the AI Assistant to get help with your day-to-day tasks in the portal, and reviewing your progress against your assigned onboarding tasks:
Note
Your supplier may not have enabled the Ask IQ chat option for you. In this case, you’ll still click the IQ icon but will land directly into Onboarding IQ.

Click Start My Onboarding or Continue Onboarding to enter or re-enter your onboarding plan. Onboarding IQ will continue to launch each time you log in.
Click Explore on My Own to dismiss Onboarding IQ and work in the portal without Onboarding IQ’s guidance. Progress against your assigned onboarding tasks is still tracked and fed back to your supplier.
Working through your assigned tasks
When you open Onboarding IQ, it presents the next best task from your assigned onboarding plan to you. This information can be included:
- Estimated time that the task will take
- Task name
- Context / benefits of completing the task
- Action buttons
- Do It Now - go to the page or external resource where you can carry out the task. When you’ve completed the task, the Onboarding IQ assistant suggests the next one for you.
- Skip Task - ignore this task and get the Onboarding IQ assistant to suggest the next best one (not available if the task is the final one in your onboarding plan)
- Remind Me Later - exit Onboarding IQ and carry on with other work. The assistant will prompt you to remind you that the task is still outstanding, usually on the next time you log in to the portal.
How Onboarding IQ lets you know how you’re doing
The Onboarding IQ assistant gives continued feedback on your progress on your onboarding journey.
Overall progress against the plan is indicated with a timeline tracker and a completed task count at the top of the window. You can click on the arrow to expose/hide progress by individual task category:
You’ll see a popup message in the portal when you’ve completed a task. The message includes a link that you can click to continue to your next recommended task.
Note
Task progress is cumulative. For example, if your supplier wants you to register one deal to progress through stage one of the plan and two deals to progress through stage two, you only need to register a single deal in stage two to complete the requirement.
If you selected Remind Me Later for a task, you’ll get prompts that it’s still outstanding, usually when you log back in to the portal.
When you’ve completed everything in your assigned plan, Onboarding IQ congratulates you for your efforts.
The message includes a Got It! action. Click on the action to conclude your onboarding journey. Onboarding IQ is removed from the context selector in Ask IQ (if enabled) and won’t pop up to welcome you on login again.
