When a new user is created for your account, they receive a welcome email with a confirmation of their username. They can follow the link in the email to activate their account and set their password.
Your supplier decides what the welcome email looks like - yours will probably look different to this one.
Creating a password
Users should set a strong password to secure their account. Here are our password requirements:
- Be at least 8 characters long
- Contain digits
- Contain an uppercase letter
- Contain a lowercase letter
- Contain a special character
- Not match any of the last 10 passwords
- Tip: Avoid personal information such as initials, nicknames, pet or child names, birthdays, street names, etc.
Logging in to the portal
To log in to the partner portal, partners will:
- Navigate to the login page of the portal.
- Enter their portal email and password.
- Click Login (or equivalent - what they see depends on what your supplier's configured for you).
Forgotten your password?
If the user forgets their password once they've set it, they can use the password recovery process:
-
Click Forgot Password? on the portal login screen.
- Enter their email address in the Email Address field.
- If your supplier has requested it, confirm the I'm not a robot security option.
- Click Send Password Reset Email.
- If the email address is associated with a partner user account, they'll receive an email message. They can click the link in the email to reset their password.
- If they don't receive the email, have them check their spam and junk folders.
Check Junk/Spam folder
Password reset emails usually arrive immediately to your inbox. The first step to troubleshoot delivery is to see if the email has been delivered to your Junk/Spam folder.
If you didn't receive the email, it may be due to restrictions in your internal email system.
Whitelist Unifyr One email addresses
If you can't see the email in your junk/spam, it may have been blocked by a company email filter. We recommend that you add the Unifyr One addresses to a whitelist, which is a list of email addresses that are classed as approved senders.
These sender email addresses may be sending emails - check with your supplier for the correct sender email address to whitelist:
-
bounce.zift123.com and the sender email address
-
notification@email.unifyr.com
-
Password reset emails may also come from your supplier’s email address
Whitelists can also be managed at the server level, with some networks blocking emails from unapproved services. Consider asking your network administrator to arrange the whitelist.
Once you have whitelisted, use the Forgot Password? link on the portal login page to request a new password reset email.
How long do I have before I am logged out the portal if I am inactive during my session?
If you are logged in but inactive for 60 minutes, you will automatically be logged out. You will need to log back in to continue.
You'll lose any unsaved changes/information if you are automatically logged out due to inactivity.
